Welcome to The Prairie Chicken! It is fitting that the first post should serve to prepare you for what lies ahead. Sometimes there will be puns. Sometimes sarcasm. Sometimes irony. Often drama. Always there will be long sentences to accommodate tangents that I use to describe a detail which, though not important to the overarching story, is arbitrarily important to me that readers understand. I just need you to understand that.

This is a place where caps lock and exclamation marks can be used and abused in the name of DRAMATIC LICENSE!!!

Where expletives are friggty-fracken' family-friendly.

Where paragraph breaks and ellipses are

used in the places of bated breaths

and... awkward pauses.

Many of my stories will come from an already-compiled stock, but hopefully many more will flow from the day to day living of life.
